Under a global Lipschitz condition, we show that the pth-moment convergence of Euler–Maruyama numerical solutions to stochastic functional differential equations with jumps has order 1/p for any p ≥ 2. This is significantly different from the case of stochastic functional differential equations without jumps, where the order is 1/2 for any p ≥ 2. It is therefore best to use the mean-square convergence for stochastic functional differential equations with jumps. Moreover, under a local Lipschitz condition, we reveal that the order of mean-square convergence is close to 1/2, provided that local Lipschitz constants, valid on balls of radius j, do not grow faster than log j.

Rate of convergence for numerical solutions to SFDEs with jumps
In this paper, we are interested in the numerical solutions of stochastic functional differential equations (SFDEs) with jumps. Under the global Lipschitz condition, we show that the pth moment convergence of the Euler-Maruyama (EM) numerical solutions to SFDEs with jumps has order 1/p for any p ≥ 2. This is significantly different from the case of SFDEs without jumps where the order is 1/2 for...
متن کاملConvergence and stability of the semi-implicit Euler method for linear stochastic delay integro-differential equations
Delay integro-differential equations are very important in biology, medicine and many other fields. If we take random noise into account, we can obtain many stochastic delay integro-differential equations (SDIDEs). As a special case of stochastic functional differential equations (SFDEs), the fundamental theory of existence and uniqueness of the solution of SDIDEs can be regarded similarly to t...
متن کاملWavelet Galerkin Method for Solving Stochastic Fractional Differential Equations
Stochastic fractional differential equations (SFDEs) have many physical applications in the fields of turbulance, heterogeneous, flows and matrials, viscoelasticity and electromagnetic theory. In this paper, a new wavelet Galerkin method is proposed for numerical solution of SFDEs. First, fractional and stochastic operational matrices for the Chebyshev wavelets are introduced. Then, these opera...
متن کاملConvergence of Numerical Method For the Solution of Nonlinear Delay Volterra Integral Equations
In this paper, Solvability nonlinear Volterra integral equations with general vanishing delays is stated. So far sinc methods for approximating the solutions of Volterra integral equations have received considerable attention mainly due to their high accuracy. These approximations converge rapidly to the exact solutions as number sinc points increases. Here the numerical solution of nonlinear...
متن کاملModified Wavelet Method for Solving Two-dimensional Coupled System of Evolution Equations
As two-dimensional coupled system of nonlinear partial differential equations does not give enough smooth solutions, when approximated by linear, quadratic and cubic polynomials and gives poor convergence or no convergence. In such cases, approximation by zero degree polynomials like Haar wavelets (continuous functions with finite jumps) are most suitable and reliable. Therefore, modified numer...
